Seatrium Limited is a premier global player offering offshore renewables, new energy, and cleaner offshore & marine solutions, formed from the merger of Sembcorp Marine Ltd and Keppel Offshore & Marine in 2023. Seatrium’s connection with Brazil dates back to the 1980s when it undertook various vessel repair and conversion jobs from Petrobras.
Headquartered in Singapore, the Group has 60 years of track record in the design and construction of rigs, floaters, offshore platforms and specialised vessels, as well as in the repair, upgrading and conversion of different ship types. The Group operates shipyards and other facilities in Singapore, Brazil, China, Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines, Norway, United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Seatrium has been operating in Brazil since 2000, with three operational shipyards. Estaleiro BrasFELS Ltda (BrasFELS) is located in Angra dos Reis, Rio de Janeiro, operates since 2000. Estaleiro Jurong Aracruz Ltda (EJA) is in Aracruz, Espirito Santo, operates since 2014. Seatrium Singmarine Brasil Ltda (SSMB) is in Navegantes, Santa Catarina since 2014.
Through continuous enhancements in its capabilities and infrastructure, Seatrium has grown to be one of the most established offshore and marine facilities in the Latin American region. Providing a broad range of construction, conversion, upgrading and repair services, the Group’s projects span Floating Production units, Floating Production Storage and Offloading vessels, drillships, drilling semi-submersible rigs, platform supply vessels, anchor handling tug/supply vessels and other specialized vessels.

Located in Angra Dos Reis, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, BrasFELS shipyard has been operating since 2000. It covers a widespread range of product offerings from Marine vessels to offshore. For example: drilling to production units; proprietary design newbuilds to EPC projects, as well conversion and repair projects.
BrasFELS has yard area of 52 hectares, with dry docks, piers with cranes and gantry crane capacities of 660T and 2000T, sheltered fabrication, assembly workshops, including blasting and painting halls, which are highly suitable for fabrication and integration of offshore units. BrasFELS has its strong teams of engineering, supply chain, HSE, quality and project management as well as operations to ensure successful project executions.

Estaleiro Jurong Aracruz (EJA) is located on an 82.5 hectare site with a 1.6km long coastline in the municipality of Aracruz in the state of Espirito Santo, about 80 km by road north of the capital of Vitoria.
The yard commenced operations in the second half of 2014 and is currently equipped with a 1km berthing quay with water depth of up to 15.5m, ancillary piping facilities, steel fabrication workshops and heavy lift cranes, including a floating crane with a capacity of up to 3,600 tonnes.

Seatrium Singmarine Brasil Ltda (SSMB) is strategically located in Navegantes, Santa Catarina, which is only a 15-min ride from the airport of Navegantes within a 10km radius from the sea ports. Started since 2010, SSMB is strategically located and is supported by an efficient logistics support team.
SSMB yard has a total land area of 7.6 hectares, a 300-meter long waterfront, as well as a 130-meter slipway equipped with a 120T gantry crane. It also houses sheltered fabrication / assembly workshops, including a blasting and painting hall. SSMB yard is most suitable for marine vessels construction such as the PSV and AHTS, and / or module fabrication.
